We finally closed on our new home January 18, 2013. It was quite the adventure to say the least. Short sales are a pain and require a ton of patience and prayer. I still can't believe that it is real. We are the proud homeowners of our very first condo. Here are some celebration pictures. More pictures of the place to follow in another post. Thanks to all that prayed for us thought this ordeal. You guys are awesome.

This year we celebrated at my besties current home in the farm town of Zamora. It was such a fun and relaxing time.

Our family resolution for the year is to be kind. Sounds simple enough but it is something we struggle with depending on the situation. So this year we hope to be nice to others even when it's difficult and to choose love all the time. Here's to a fabulous 2013!

My fabulous sis in law graduated from Loma Linda university with her masters in occupational therapy!! Go mandi! It was so fun to not only visit with the entire family but be with her on her special day. We are so proud of you sis!

What a wonderful weekend that just wasn't long enough. We throughly enjoyed ourselves by bbqing two times, going on a hike with the bells and pretty much just enjoying the beautiful California weather. Lets not forget all those who serve our country and fight for our freedom. Thanks also to those families that support our troops and those who gave there lives for our freedom. May we never forget. Hope your weekend was a good one!

.bob's new job.

Bobby is the new Lead Worship Director at our amazing church New Song in San Dimas. While this is only a part time job it's still very exciting and something that bob has wanted to do for many years. It's been a fun adventure so far and we cant wait to see what the future has in store for the both of us. Come visit us, bob's pretty much a rockstar (I might be biased) but he's amazing. So proud of you hubby!!

The hubs and I finally joined the rest of society and now have iPhones!!! Life as we know it will never be the same. And with that comes instagram which is my current new obsession. (and android users I know you all now have it too, but our andriods were so "special" that we still couldn't get it) anywhoo, enjoy some shots and look forward to many more posts to come.

2 year anniversary!!!!

We celebrated our 2 year anniversary on January 23 and we went out in style. The best part was that bobby had no idea what Roscoe's was like and thought it was a classy place. He even tried to call and make reservations. The man knows the way to my heart is definitely fried chicken and waffles. So delish. Love you boo and thanks for picking me :)

Happy valentine's day to my wonderful love. Thank you for being my man and taking care of me in the ways only you know how. I love so much about you..here are some highlights.

I love that you have the most amazing voice..Bella and I could listen to you sing forever.

I love that you never make me clean the bathroom because you know it grosses me out.

I love that when you hug me after a long day, you humor me when I ask to be picked up...because it feels o so good on my back.

I love the way you get soo excited about the littlest of things..even though I give you a hard time about it.

I love the way we laugh together, dance together, play with Bella together..people may think we are crazy but I love us.

So the hubby graduated and is already on to grad school. Wow how time just does not stop for anyone. We had a beer tasting party with some of our closest friends to celebrate and it was SO much fun. I'm way too lazy to post all the pictures but if you are interested they can be found here. I also made him a super awesome chocolate wasted cake that can be found here. Overall it was a wonderful weekend and I am o so very proud of my man.

.my 26th birthday.

So..call me a birthday nazi but im kinda over birthdays. Im all about celebrating others but for some reason when it comes to myself its just a bit weird. I definitely was not always like this so it must just be the fear of getting older. This year I just had a simple dinner at an old favorite of mine, Red Robin. It was a really fun night with lots of laughs. Thank you to all that came out and celebrated me, and an especially big thanks for doing so mid-week on a wednesday. So blessed with the most amazing friends a girl could ask for :)

I'm beyond excited to announce that Bob got into the masters program at Cal State University Fullerton for Speech and Language Pathology !!!!!!!!!!!!! This has been the longest challenge/adventure ever and we put all of our eggs in one basket hoping and praying he would get in and by the grace of god he did! Bob has shown so much discipline, dedication, and determination. I could never have worked as hard as he did and I am so VERY proud of him. Congrats schneid and welcome to the big leagues. The best is yet to come.

Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays. Not only because it is centered around food but also because it slows us down to remember all that we are blessed with in our lives. We had a little gathering with my mom in our cozy apartment. And for the first year I cooked our little turkey in the crockpot. omg, it was AMAZING. so tender and completely low maintenance I don't think ill ever be able to go back. Plus it didn't turn my kitchen into a sauna. We stuffed ourselves silly and enjoyed my fav almond champagne. Who could have asked for more? Hope you all had a wonderful thanksgiving too!
